My Marilyn Moment

It's HOT in the city today.  90's with very high humidity after some intense thunderstorms early this morning.  The thought of putting on clothes was really too much, but I had to go to work, so clothes it must be.  I pulled out my lightest sundress -- navy blue, knee length, thin straps -- it would be the least amount of fabric touching skin.

I decided to stop by the cosmetic shop to pick up a few essentials on my way to the office, and as I rushed down the sidewalk carrying my bags, I happened to be standing on the subway grate in the sidewalk as the train went by.  Whoosh!  My skirt blew up all around me, flashing all the tourists on the crowded sidewalk.  And they really got an eyeful since I was wearing my most delicate, sheerest white g-string!  Let's just say there were a lot of smiles on a lot of male faces.  And a few scowls on some women's faces.

I'm sure I didn't pull it off quite as sexily as Marilyn, but now I know how she must have felt.
